Top economic officials of China and the United States on Monday started their annual talks to bolster the economic and trade relations.

Chinese Vice Premier Wang Qishan and U.S. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner co-chaired the two-day dialogue in the Diaoyutai Guesthouse in Beijing.

The China-U.S. Strategic and Economic Dialogue was initiated by presidents of both countries last year.
