ICBC Beijing Branch Launches Large Hire Purchase Campaign for Home Appliance Consumers
 

The Ministry of Commerce and Beijing Municipal Government recently announced the launch of the "National Consumption Promotion Month". In a signal that is heeding the call, ICBC Beijing Branch launched, in collaboration with three home appliance giants (Suning, Gome, Dazhong), a marketing campaign of "Happy Life, ICBC Home Appliance Shopping Festival", to expand consumer growth in Beijing.

Three highlights of this ICBC Beijing Branch's marketing campaign: I. Big savings to consumers. ICBC customers who use credit card to buy home appliances and pay by installments are entitled to zero banking charge up to 12 installments. To ICBC customers, this means less cost and good living in advance. II. Participation from many merchants. The campaign covers all 600+ retail outlets of Suning, Gome and Dazhong. Customers are free to go to any of above retail outlet to shop. III. Long promotion period. The campaign, from mid-March to early-July, lasts through nearly 4 months of the peak season for home renovation.

The campaign is another initiative of ICBC Beijing Branch to drive consumer spending, improve people's livelihoods and fulfill its social responsibility, said an executive with the Branch. In the next stage, on top of the existing promotions to attract consumers, other unique marketing activities will also be launched for cardholders to spend and pay by installment on travel, education, home furnishings and cars. The aim is to achieve healthy and fast growth of credit card installment business.
