ICBC has been named "Outstanding Dealing Member" and one of the "2011 Top 100 in Interbank RMB Market" at the recent 2011 award program held by the National Interbank Funding Center.

The "Outstanding Dealing Member Award" is a prestigious award in the interbank RMB market. The award, presented by the National Interbank Funding Center, was based on a number of factors on the dealing members, their performance, trustworthiness and the support to the interbank market. Winners of the "Top 100 in Interbank RMB Market" were ranked according to their trading capability. ICBC has for many years in succession to receive the above two awards.

In 2011, ICBC carried out detail study on macro economy, interest rate market and took various measures to manage the investments through policies, portfolio positions and term structure. ICBC actively performed its obligations as a market maker and guided price discovery for interbank market. Through a series of measures such as flexible investment and band operation, the Bank increased investment return and achieved industry-leading result, while ensuring good control on interest rate risk.
