ICBC bagged four major awards at the recent The Asian Banker's 2012 "Transaction Banking Achievement Awards", namely, "The Best International Transaction Bank in Asia", "The Leading Counterparty Bank in Asia Pacific", "The Best Domestic Cash Management Bank in China" and "The Leading Counterparty Bank in China".

This year, ICBC took two major Asia Pacific awards. "The Best International Transaction Bank in Asia" honored the achievement of a bank in areas of global cash management, payment settlement and trade finance. Winning the awards bears testimony to ICBC's shift from the best cash management bank in China to global cash management bank in the Asia Pacific, and the international and peer recognition on ICBC's global cash management business.

At the end of 2011, ICBC defended its title as the largest cash management bank in China by securing over 660,000 cash management customers with 2,232 customers signing up global cash management service. ICBC attracts top cash management customers while maintaining the momentum on the customer scale. The set-up of Asia Pacific Cash Management Center and China-Africa Cash Management Platform boost the service capability of ICBC on the delivery of global cash management services in the Asia Pacific and Africa.
