On October 10, ICBC and Jin Jiang International Group signed strategic cooperation agreement on internet-based business in Shanghai. According to the agreement, both parties will cooperate on hotel booking and business travel on the basis of ICBC Mall platform. It was attended by President Gu Shu and Vice President Hu Hao of ICBC, Chairman Yu Minliang and President Guo Lijuan of Jin Jiang International, etc.

ICBC President Gu Shu said that, the increasing cooperation and business innovations by both sides have laid a solid foundation for further strategic cooperation on internet finance. He hoped that both parties will take this opportunity to further establish a long-term cooperation mechanism, so as to push the cooperation to a new level. Chairman Yu Minliang of Jin Jiang International Group said that ICBC is a long-term strategic partner of Jin Jiang International Group. He extended his gratitude to ICBC’s efficient and superior financial services. Meanwhile, he hoped both parties will jointly deal with challenges to achieve win-win outcomes in future cooperation.

It is understood that Jin Jiang’s official hotel booking platform, WeHotel, will start business on the ICBC Mall, where customers can make reservations at more than 8,000 Jin Jiang hotels. In addition, both sides, based on their advantages in specialty, resource and channel, will extend their cooperation into enterprise business travel, the Internet financing, etc., in order to provide consumers with higher-quality services.
