Our Export L/C Service ensures exporters of payment from your buyers through bank credit commitments. Online L/C advice (amendment) is now available for you to be acknowledged once your online trading is opened with the Bank via corporate internet banking. You are qualified to be acknowledged the contents of letter of credit or its amendment at the time once it is received by the Bank. The service is also suitable for those who wish to secure funding from L/C and customers of ICBC (Thai) trade finance services (i.e. Packing credit, Export Bill Purchase, Export Discounting or Forfeiting).

  • Payment is guaranteed by the L/C issuing bank. Exporters only need to provide documents that are verified without errors.

  • Your importer's L/C can be forwarded via email/fax for your review.


    • Conditions
  • You shall open the function of “online trading” with the Bank via corporate internet banking.
  • For faster and more convenient service, your company shall request your buyer to open L/C by appointing ICBC (Thai) as the advising bank.
  • You shall request your buyer to send a fax copy of the L/C opened by its bank, which enables us to check the status and inform you promptly once the L/C/ or its amendment is received.
  • Provide  ICBC (Thai)'s SWIFT Code (ICBKTHBKXXX) and address (11-13 Fl., Emporium Tower 622 Sukhumvit Road, Khlong Ton, Khlong Toei, Bangkok 10110 Thailand) to your buyer for us to receive the L/C / or its amendment via authenticated SWIFT.
  • L/C opening by mail is not recommended since there is a potential risk of forgery.
  • Sanction and high risks countries should be avoided.
