British stocks decreased on Monday, with the benchmark FTSE 100 Index down 13.57 points or 0.18 percent at 7,710.98 points.

Paddy Power Betfair, a large British bookmaking business, soared 12.24 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. Coca-Cola HBC and Mediclinic International rose by 2.02 percent and 1.94 percent respectively.

G4S, a British multinational security services company, was the worst performer in the blue chips, with its shares losing 2.77 percent. Royal Mail, the British postal service company, dropped 2.73 percent. BT Group, the British multinational telecommunications services company, dropped 2.40 percent.
