British stocks rose on Tuesday, with the benchmark FTSE 100 Index up 11.06 points or 0.15 percent at 7,520.36 points.

Just Eat, an online food order and delivery company, soared 4.08 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. Bunzl and Severn Trent rose by 3.22 percent and 2.53 percent, respectively.

British American Tobacco, a British multinational tobacco company, was the worst performer in the blue chips, with its shares losing 2.48 percent. Kingfisher, the Europe's leading home improvement retailer, dropped 2.47 percent. Fresnillo, an international mining group, dropped 2.35 percent.
