German Shares Close Flat Tuesday - June 5
 

German stocks closed flat on Tuesday, with the benchmark DAX index up 16.38 points, or 0.13 percent, to close at 12,787.13 points.

Multinational chemical firm Linde won the most among the blue chips, with its shares up 2.45 percent.

Semiconductor manufacturer Infineon Technologies and Deutsche Boerse group, marketplace organizer for the trading of shares and securities, rose by 2.44 percent and 1.80 percent respectively.

Commerzbank lost the most among the blue chips, by falling 3.08 percent. Multinational chemical and pharmaceutical company Bayer and Deutsche Bank went down by 1.95 percent and 1.68 percent respectively.

Bayer was the most-traded share, with a turnover of 633.10 million euros (739.14 million U.S. dollars).
