On Oct 25, AM, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Limited Inauguration Conference and First Shareholders Meeting convened in Beijing. Conference was hosted by Mr. Wang Jianxi, deputy chairman of the board of Central SAFE Investment Ltd. Initiator representatives from Ministry of Finance and Central SAFE respectively reviewed and passed the motions in the establishment of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Limited.

In accordance with state law and regulations, shareholding meeting reviewed the motions of concerning the establishment of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Limited and initiators investment, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Limited Regulation (Draft), Shareholders Meeting, Board of Directors, Rules of Council Meeting (Draft). Also elected were the members of First Board of Directors and Council Board of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Limited. 11 motions of Inauguration Conference were all passed with full votes.

Leaders from Ministry of Finance, Peoples' Bank of China, Banking Regulatory Commission, nominee of Directors and Councilors attended the Meeting.
